About Me
Hello there! I'm Vivi Huang, a high school student who enjoys doodling and expanding my knowledge about the world. Despite the abundance of information available in the digital age, I've found it challenging to find accessible resources on the fascinating topic of linguistics, which is often considered niche. Therefore, I've taken it upon myself to create resources that will help teach interested individuals about the peculiarities of human language and the intriguing phenomena that capture my interest.
Our Mission
Linguistics has traditionally been seen as a specialized field, studied by academics and experts in the field. However, the study of language is relevant to everyone, as it plays a fundamental role in our everyday lives. From the way we communicate with others to the way we understand and interpret the world around us, language is an essential tool that shapes our experiences and interactions.
Recognizing the importance of language and the need to make the study of linguistics more accessible to a wider audience, a curious teenager named Vivi started the project "Linguiskers: Linger in Linguistics". The illustrations drawn by Vivi are simple, using relatable images to explain complex linguistic concepts. Through visual depictions, Vivi aims to demystify the field of linguistics and make it more engaging to people of all ages.
